WORLD DIABETES DAY 2022

World Diabetes Day is the world's largest diabetes awareness campaign reaching a global audience of over 1 billion people in more than 160 countries. It's marked every year on 14th November, was held for the first time in 1991 by the International Diabetes Foundation and the World Health Organization. This year, World Diabetes Day 2022 go under the theme “Access to Diabetes Care”.

Currently, the proportion of people with diabetes in the world tends to increase, including Vietnam. According to the latest announcement of the World Diabetes Federation (IDF) in 2021, 537 million adults (20-79 years) are living with diabetes. This number is predicted to rise to 643 million by 2030 and 783 million by 2045.

In fact, there are many people with diabetes but do not know they have the disease, until serious complications appear on the heart, eyes, kidneys, nerves, ...
