On August 18, 2026, American Eye Center Vietnam had the pleasure of joining SSIS Health Fair 2026, meeting parents and students during a morning dedicated to learning more about health and eye care as the new school year begins.

Helping students explore eye health

At the event, the American Eye Center Vietnam team shared practical information about vision checks, refractive errors, myopia and Ortho-K, while answering families’ questions about children’s eye care.

Alongside conversations with parents, students were also invited to explore eye health through colouring activities and fun questions about vision.

These interactive activities offered an approachable and engaging way for students to learn more about their eyes while encouraging greater awareness of vision and everyday eye-care habits.

Supporting children's vision throughout the school year

As children begin a new school year, activities such as looking at the board, reading, using digital devices and completing near-work tasks become part of their daily routine.

Paying attention to changes in a child’s vision and learning more about eye examinations, refractive errors and myopia-management options can help families have informed conversations with an eye-care professional when needed.
